OutcomeNothing pretentious. A brand that feels like the place itself, from the logo on the window to the website.
01Brand
Good pasta, good wine, good company.
Fabro Pasta is a small pasta place in the heart of Copenhagen, named after Fabro, a small town in central Italy.
The guys opening it were young and fun, and they wanted a hangout, not a fine-dining room: good, affordable pasta and wine with good company, nothing pretentious.
I built the full brand identity and digital presence around that feeling, from a hand-drawn logo and a playful visual world to the website and menus.

02Logo
Personal, artisanal, hungry.
The mark uses a hand-drawn script that feels personal and artisanal. A minimalist fork anchors the name from beneath, so you know it’s about dining at a glance.

03Colour
Three colours, one carbonara.
A three-colour system that feels warm and easygoing, never precious.
Golden Semolina Yellow, drawn from fresh egg pasta, leads as the primary: warm and inviting. Deep Forest Teal anchors the logo and gives packaging its depth and contrast. Parchment Cream grounds it all, clean and organic, inspired by a classic carbonara.

04In use
To the window. To the wall. To the feed.
The identity lives on the street corner on Borgergade, on the door, on the staff polos and on social, where the tone gets to be as playful as the food.

05Digital
A menu you can taste.
The website and menus carry the same calm, warm system: cream pages, the yellow as a signal, simple dish photography and clear, easy-to-scan menus.
The client has since changed the live site, so the original design is rebuilt here. Scroll it, click through the menu, hover the letters.
